E&I Supervisors 8 NOT MORE THAN 40 YEARS OLD ENGINEERING DEGREE IN ELECTRICAL/ INSTRUMENTATION 5 TO 7 YEARS IN PETROLEUM/OIL & GAS INDUSTRY QR 4500/- to QR 5000/- FOR 48 HOURS OF WORK PER WEEK PLUS FOOD ALLOWANCE Organize and supervise the activities and work of subordinates (technicians) to ensure that all work within a specific area of the activity is carried out in an efficient manner which is consistent with operating procedures and policy; Supervise the maintenance (preventive & work order based) and breakdown services of the facilities and equipment of the Company & subsidiaries and guide the Maintenance technicians in case of complex issues/ problems in these areas in order to ensure the equipment's are functioning properly and their maintenance history is recorded; Ensure prioritized tasks based on criticality of the area under purview are conducted to the best of ability in order that operational facility I equipment are ready for usage as per the required standards; Ensure proper resource control (Technicians & Contractors) & optimal allocation of resources in Maintenance section in order to ensure effective utilization of manpower and materials to produce optimum output; Provide technical advice to technicians & other subordinates/ peers at the Company to support them in the achievement of their jobs and to provide them with feedback and recommendations for future improvement based on technical issues faced in maintenance.
Electrical Technicians 8 NOT MORE THAN 35 YEARS OLD DIPLOMA/VOCATIONAL/TRADE TEST IN ELECTRICAL/ INSTRUMENTATION 5 TO 7 YEARS IN PETROLEUM/OIL & GAS INDUSTRY QR 2250/- TO QR 2500/- FOR 48 HOURS OF WORK PER WEEK PLUS FOOD ALLOWANCE Undertake regular site patrolling as per work orders/instruction to monitor the physical condition of all electrical equipment's, report non• conformances in order to facilitate effective maintenance of all the Company's facilities as per set Quality/HSE standards; Attend to breakdowns and effectively adopt corrective/preventive actions, ensuring adherence to procedures & guidelines to reduce downtime and maximize functionality of electrical equipments; Carryout preventive maintenance activities according to defined schedules in order to facilitate uninterrupted operations; Perform and carry out electrical maintenance activities at the Company's facilities within the same discipline and specialty wherever /whenever directed and requested by superiors which would require the following tasks; Follow and implement verbal or written instructions from the Maintenance Engineer including dimensional sketches, wiring and circuit diagrams and use the necessary materials, tools, meters and measuring equipment to maintain and repair Electrical equipment; Disassemble and assemble switchgear, electrical circuitry as and when required; Change lead wire connections on motors, inspect insulation resistance and check performance conditions before handing over for normal operations; Repair and replace defective mechanical and electrical parts in motors; Install cables, circuit breakers, busbar chambers and transformers; carry out termination and joint work for cables, and conduct insulation tests before charging; Modify control circuit diagrams to change the control system for protection; Perform and carry out electrical routine maintenance at oil/utilities facilities within the same discipline and specialty wherever/whenever directed and requested by superior;
Instrumentation Technicians 5 NOT MORE THAN 35 YEARS OLD DIPLOMA/ ITI IN ELECTRICAL/ INSTRUMENTATION 5 TO 7 YEARS IN PETROLEUM/OIL & GAS INDUSTRY QR 2250/- TO QR 2500/- FOR 48 HOURS OF WORK PER WEEK PLUS FOOD ALLOWANCE Check the performance of various instruments and follow the maintenance procedures to ascertain that they are in good working condition; Perform corrective preventive maintenance, instrument repairs in order to ensure that the instruments are well calibrated and in good working condition for smooth operations; Conduct instrument maintenance activities at all Company's facilities as directed and requested by superiors such as; Carry out inspection of instruments, check alarms, identify equipment problems and compare control room and field indicators; Carry out routine maintenance; disassemble and check instruments, calibrate and test serviced instruments to ensure proper operations; Report all serious malfunctions to the Maintenance Engineer for his advice and directions; Receive repair work orders and carry routine repair for instrumentation, equipment and systems, including fault diagnosis, replacing or repairing faulty components as required; Assist in minor overhauls of various instruments in the workshop; Repair, check or replace and re-calibrate equipment parts;
